Apricot (Sticky) Chicken

4 ingredients and that includes the chicken!


2 whole chickens cut up or about 6-8 chicken breasts
8 oz. tomato based salad dressing (eg. French, Catalina, etc)
8 oz. apricot (or peach) jam
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Cooking Instructions

Place chicken pieces in an 9×12 baking dish. Mix together salad dressing, jam and soup mix. Pour over chicken covering all the pieces with some of the sauce. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve over rice. Other good sauce combinations are french dressing with whole cranberry sauce or add mushrooms and/or dried apricot pieces to the basic recipe.
